Brookhaven First!
Our district pays the vast majority of the taxes in Farmers Branch, and I'd like the City to do a better job keeping up with the issues that concern us. Why do our roads look like a patchwork quilt? Why didn't they replace the hedges on Marsh and Webb Chapel that designate our neighborhood? Why are we allowing abandoned houses to sit for years with little to no work being done? Brookhaven is now and always has been the crown jewel of Farmers Branch, and our growth as a city is directly linked to our area. We need more of our tax dollars to be invested in updating what actually draws people to our city.
Campaign Priorities Issues
- Reduction of our property taxes, and better use of dollars spent.
- Increased code enforcement (construction timeline expectations and removing boats and RVs from view)
- Exploring alternative revenue streams for the city that don't include property taxes.
- Expanding the demo/rebuild program.
- Improving landscaping and entry points of Brookhaven
